The mill in Skookumchuck, British Columbia, Canada, is seeking talent to fill the position of Power and Recovery Supervisor. This job is full-time permanent.
What you will be doing:
Safety, Environmental & Quality
Ensures operating parameters are met and any non-conformances are properly logged along with the corrective actions taken.
Ensures all equipment is maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner. Also responsible for the safe Emergency Shutdown Practices of the Recovery Boiler and all Power and Recovery equipment as required.
Maintains a high standard of safety by ensuring safe and correct work practices are followed.
Ensures processes are operated in compliance with environmental procedures. Address and report on all environmental incidents on shift.
