Power System Engineer

Conduct power system studies (load flow, short circuit, relay coordination, arc flash, stability) for utility, industrial or renewable projects.

Design and review single‑line diagrams (SLDs), protection schemes and control systems.

Develop technical specifications for electrical equipment such as transformers, switch‑gear, relays and cable systems.

Support grid code compliance analysis and assist in the integration of distributed energy resources (DERs) like solar PV or battery energy storage.

Coordinate with clients, contractors and local utilities (e.g. DEWA, ADWEA, TRANSCO) for design approvals, interconnection studies and permitting.

Review and validate vendor technical submittals and drawings to ensure conformance with project and local authority requirements.

Participate in factory acceptance tests (FATs), site acceptance tests (SATs) and commissioning activities for power systems equipment. <...
