ETAP Study Engineer – Job Description
Role Overview:
Responsible for performing power system studies using ETAP to ensure safe, reliable, and
efficient operation of electrical networks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and validate electrical network models in ETAP based on project data and
drawings.
• Perform
Load Flow (Power Flow) Studies
to evaluate voltage profile, power factor, and
system loading.
• Conduct
Short Circuit Studies
as per IEEE / IEC standards.
• Carry out
Protection Coordination Studies
including relay setting calculations and unit
protection.
• Perform
Arc Flash Analysis
in accordance with NFPA (NFPA 70E).
• Execute
Harmonic Analysis
and recommend mitigation measures as per IEEE 519.

Motor Starting Studies
and transient analysis where applicable.
