The electricity system in New South Wales is undergoing one of the most significant transformations in its history. As the grid transitions to a diverse mix of renewable energy Transgrid is at the centre of ensuring a reliable, secure and resilient power system for the future.
We are seeking a Power Systems Engineer to join our Network Transition Planning team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to technical modelling and analysis that supports medium-term network planning and helps bridge long-term strategic planning with near-term system operations.
Working alongside experienced engineers and industry specialists, you will help identify and assess emerging operational challenges associated with the energy transition and contribute to solutions that support system security, reliability and resilience across the National Electricity Market (NEM).
