Practice Development Manager

Birmingham (Hybrid - 3-4 days on-site) 6-Month Contract Hays are working in partnership with a local council to recruit an experienced Practice Development Manager on an interim basis. This role will support the Finance Directorate by leading learning and development initiatives and driving improvements in finance practice across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual who is passionate about continuous improvement, capability building, and embedding best practice within a complex public sector environment. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement approaches that drive continuous improvement in financial management practices. Support managers and teams to embed new policies, procedures, standards, and ways of working.
