Practice Educator

The Education Department has an exciting opportunity for 1 Registered Nurse or AHP to join the Practice Education Team on a 12 month maternity cover basis. The role will positively influence and improve the quality of the clinical learning environment by providing support, supervision, educational and professional development opportunities for all learners within the practice setting. This will include Trainee Nursing Assistants, Apprentices, Student Nurses and, new recruits and Preceptee Nurses.

Main duties of the job

You will be required to provide best practice advice for supervisors and assessors in relation to clinical practice and governance. You will have regular patient contact when working with learners and this will include carrying out personal and clinical care.
