Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and patient-centred nurse to join our friendly and supportive primary care team. We are open to appointing either an experienced Practice Nurse or a suitably qualified Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Nurse Practitioner. The final job plan, responsibilities and salary will be agreed according to the successful candidates experience, competencies, qualifications and scope of practice. For a Practice Nurse appointment, the role will focus on the delivery and coordination of core general practice nursing services. This may include childhood immunisations, adult and seasonal vaccinations, cervical screening, wound care and dressings, B12 injections, other injections under appropriate PGDs or PSDs, health checks, phlebotomy where appropriate, and supporting long-term condition reviews within the postholders competency.
