Palma is a 22 year old family owned gem located at 28 Cornelia Street in the West Village. We are a bustling traditional Italian restaurant that has very unique events capabilities. 

Job essential responsibilities:

• Prepare food for service; portioning, chopping, and storing food before use
• Follow a prep list with working knowledge of ingredients and Palma's recipes
• Maintain department cleanliness and organization, adhere to safe work and equipment practices, and follow all food safety, health and sanitation standards
• Replenish kitchen inventory and supplies as needed
• Ensure all the products and prepared items are properly labeled and handled following FIFO (first in, first out)
• Follow Palma's policies and guidelines
