Principal Structural Engineer

Role description

We are excited to be growing our Structural Engineering team within the Places Design Practice. We are looking for a Principal Structural Engineer based in the UK with a strong technical background and experience in leading the structural aspects of projects. We work for a multitude of clients at national and international level on projects varied in type and size. We cover different sectors, with a prevalent focus on industrial manufacturing, technology, education, government and defence.

In our engineering team you will create some of the world’s most iconic and innovative structures. You will design spaces that transform the world around us while bringing people together. Some of our recent projects include data centers, distribution centers, gigafactories and other manufacturing facilities for the automotive industry, factories for microprocessors and a variety of other industrial buildings, accommodation facilities, offices, retail premises...
