Principal Transport Planner

An experienced Transport Planner is required to join our established Highways & Drainage team which serves the Middle East team. The ME transport team offers clients a wide range of multi-disciplinary services including Transport Planning /Modelling of local junctions and signalized networks (VISSIM, Paramics, TRANSYT, LINSIG, JUNCTIONS 8) and regional / strategic transport systems (VISUM, SATURN). The wider team also undertakes development planning work involving site appraisals, transport assessments, master planning, public transport studies and public consultation. Job Responsibilities: You will have knowledge of preliminary highway design, junction design and analysis, traffic software including ( TRICS, ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG, TRANSYT and micro-simulation (VISSIM, Paramics) as well a good understanding of fundamental modelling techniques, traffic management techniques You will also be able to be a proficient user of AutoCAD for the production of preliminary junction design drawin...
