Job Overview

Assist in reducing reoffending by supporting behaviour change in prisoners at HMP Millsike. Work within the Offender Management Unit (OMU), handling all aspects of a prisoner’s case, including risk management, parole applications and sentence planning. This non‑operational role does not involve line management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer risk assessment and manage low to medium‑risk prisoners.
• Create and evaluate sentence plans to reduce reoffending.
• Maintain regular communication with prisoners, prioritising face‑to‑face interactions.
• Coordinate with internal and external agencies (courts, police, probation services, parole boards).
• Prepare and submit parole applications and participate in parole board hearings.
