Probation Officer – Location: Norwich (Hybrid) – 2/3 Days WFH – Hours: 37 per week – Pay rate: £28.63 per hour (Umbrella) or £20.30 per hour (PAYE).
Overview
We are seeking a qualified Probation Officer to join the London Service Centre. Uniquely, this role is based in Norwich, where you will provide virtual support to the London region. Your primary responsibility will be supporting and guiding a team of Probation Services Officers (PSOs) as they manage caseloads virtually.
Responsibilities
- Work with people on probation to analyse and address their behaviour; assess offender needs; prepare and deliver reports (Court, Parole, etc.).
- Assess the risk of serious harm posed by individuals and manage risk accordingly.
- Maintain accurate case records.
- Facilitate learning events, provide guidance, support, feedback and mentoring to operational staff across the Probation Service through a programme of learning events.
