Job Summary
Process & General Assembler – a role within Thales’ manufacturing team in Crossgar. You will mechanically assemble and electrically test products while meeting quality, cost and schedule targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble products in accordance with the production schedule, focusing on quality, cost and schedule.
- Perform mechanical assembly, electrical testing, basic soldering, product packaging and paint preparation.
- Handle materials, maintain tools, work instructions and equipment to correct standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised work station and overall working area.
- Record production builds and work independently for periods of time.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and liaise with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering and management.
