**Key Responsibilities / Job Description**:- Attend design reviews and provide product evaluations to ensure designs support practical and cost‐effective manufacturing methods.
- Support the review of engineering drawings prior to Production Release to verify manufacturability and alignment with state‐of‐the‐art manufacturing techniques.
- Assist in make‐or‐buy analyses and provide recommendations regarding in‐house versus external manufacturing capabilities.
- Participate in vendor surveys and support supplier performance evaluations.
- Evaluate and define requirements for assembly tooling, fixtures, and equipment needed to support manufacturing operations.
- Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities and contribute to the disposition of nonconforming materials and assemblies.
- Support Change Control Board (CCB) reviews to ensure proposed engineering changes are manufacturable and within production capabilities.
