Procurement Lead

Role Purpose

The DGM – Wafer & Ingot Equipment Procurement is responsible for end‑to‑end strategic sourcing and procurement of high‑value capital equipment for solar wafer and ingot manufacturing. The role ensures timely availability of globally sourced equipment at optimal cost, aligned with project timelines, technology roadmap, and long‑term manufacturing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Capital Procurement

• Lead procurement strategy for wafering and ingot manufacturing equipment including furnaces, wire saws, automation, inspection, utilities, and allied systems
• Align procurement plans with greenfield / expansion project schedules and capacity ramp‑up plans
• Develop long‑term sourcing strategies for critical and single‑source equipment

Global Vendor Management

• Identify, qualify, and manage global OEMs and technology partners (China / Europe / APAC)
