The Direct Material Purchasing Specialist is responsible for creating and executing sourcing strategies, identifying cost-saving projects and resource optimization opportunities through negotiation or engineering changes, while also ensuring the proper performance of the supply chain and measuring and analyzing financial risks with suppliers.
