**Job Description Summary**
Here at Dowty (a GE Aerospace company), we have an exciting 18 month fixed term contract to join out production team as a Production Controller. You will be responsible for converting the Master Production Schedule (MPS) into the Production Plan for our shop floor. You will set, manage and monitor the Production Plan in the 13-week execution window. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient flow of materials, timely release of clear kits, and adherence to schedule. You will be responsible for materials management of Work-In-Process (WIP) and the scheduling of this within ERP.
You will directly support our operational teams by ensuring any materials roadblocks or capacity constraints are contained and/or escalated to assure production continuity and process flow working collaboratively across supply chain and beyond.
