Pay rates: £12.71 per hour
Schedule: Shifts starting at 5am
As a Production Operator , you will work in hide preparation and in the yard. You will be working in an environment where cattle are slaughtered , and you will be working with animal carcasses. Therefore, you must be comfortable and ready to work in this type of environment.
As a Production Operator , you will perform different duties with hide and in the yard.
Hide duties:
- Transferring hides from slaughter hall to hide shed
- Preparing and storing the hides to specifications
- Curing hides
- Preparing and dispatching hide orders
- Ensuring all relevant paperwork is maintained and accurate
