Job Description
We are looking for a Production Supervisor for a small frozen‑berry processing and packing facility in Bloomingdale, IL. This role oversees daily production, safety, quality, and team performance in a cold‑environment food manufacturing setting. You will act as the onsite lead when management is offsite and ensure the floor runs safely and efficiently.
Job Logistics
Shifts / Hours: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Location: Bloomingdale, MI
Tools/Tech: PPE, forklift, standard production equipment
DAY‑TO‑DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise daily production workflow, team productivity, and attendance
• Lead on‑floor operations when Plant Manager is remote
• Uphold GMP, food safety, and health & safety protocols
• Maintain PPE compliance
• Complete first‑aid logs and incident documentation
• Support morale, onboarding, and conflict resolution
• Coordinate with maintenance/contractors on breakdowns/spills
