Job Details
Execute daily review of jobs, work orders, and routings; ensure labor corrections and job completions are accurate.
Coordinate with Scheduling/Planning to ensure correct job flow through the shop.
Schedule machining centers and personnel while considering project lead times.
Anticipate and resolve resource bottlenecks.
Track machining, polishing, fit-up, inspection, plating, assembly, and outside services.
Evaluate readiness of parts for plating, finishing, and final assembly.
Monitor machine utilization, idle time, downtime, and recurring inefficiencies.
Balance labor and machine assignments to maximize productivity.
Request overtime as required.
Ensure preventative maintenance is conducted.
