Job Purpose

To make a substantial and positive contribution to our strategic direction by leading and shaping our world-changing and internationally-competitive research and transnational education, provide high quality teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, secure research funding, and provide academic leadership and management within the School/GC UESTC/College. To actively engage in relationships with external stakeholders that advance knowledge exchange, public understanding and outreach. The teaching responsibilities of this post will be delivered from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) campuses and will require you to live and work overseas in Chengdu and Lingshui Li’an, China, for the equivalent of at least one teaching semester per year (typically 18 - 20 weeks).
