Project Buyer (sourcing)

Responsibilities Sourcing & Supplier Management Develop and manage a robust supplier base across Asia and/or global markets. Conduct supplier assessments, negotiate contracts, and drive cost-down initiatives. Identify and qualify alternative suppliers to mitigate supply chain risks. Monitor supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) and quality performance with structured corrective action plans. Procurement Operations Execute end-to-end purchasing activities including RFQ, PO issuance, Call-Offs, and contract implementation (NDA, GPC). Verify invoices against POs and manage price deviation resolution. Maintain accurate SCM parameters in SAP/R3 (vendor master, contracts, IQC, warehouse data). Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with Engineering, R&D, Production Planning, Quality, and Finance to align procurement with project timelines and production demands.
