Summary of Function

The Harvesting Plan Coordinator will lead, track, and operationalize a comprehensive, multi-phase Ji’gaw (Striped Bass) harvesting plan project, along with developing relevant institutional support capacity. This role acts as the central hub connecting Community Harvesters, the Natural Resources Directorate (NRD), Rangers, the Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government (LMG), DFO/Canada, and other relevant institutions. The ideal candidate will ensure that the project seamlessly transitions from strategic planning through to community-based implementation, processing and trade development, and adaptive seasonal review.
