Our Estimating and Projects Department is looking for an Estimator to join its team! We are looking for a skilled, educated, responsible and reliable candidate to provide support to our growing team. Please note this is a 1 year contract with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate, comprehensive cost estimates for projects ranging from $200,000 to $10,000,000 with margin analysis.
- Scope Review: Analyze project blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits (1–2 days per week) to assess field conditions, verify measurements, and gather crucial data for bidding.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Liaison: Solicit, review, and negotiate quotes from subcontractors and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and alignment with project scopes.
