Project Geologist

Acrux Search is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Geologist to support an RC and DD drilling program, with duties that include logging of RC chips and DD core, as well as general rig management (ensuring that the rig is correctly set up at each location, liasing with the driller with regards to production and safety). Following the completion of the drilling program, you will support regional exploration where possible with field mapping, rock chip sampling, and working with soil sampling teams. This is a remote Greenfields exploration project in Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. Camp accommodation comprises dongas but tented camping may be required for short periods. Where: 15/6 Roster, and the program is expected to last between 4 and 6 months.
