Project Mine Engineer
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
:Reporting to the Supervisor, Engineering, you will be part of the Engineering Department. Given the remote location and scale of the operations, you may be required to broaden your scope of responsibilities and demonstrate proficiency and autonomy in relevant areas. You will be accountable for the design, planning, and execution of engineering services for the underground project. Responsibilities include short-range and mid-range planning, mine design, ventilation, mine services, construction, and other production-related projects. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.
Develop weekly and 3‑month mining plans in collaboration with mining operations and other stakeholders;
Support the Long-Range Planner by ensuring short- and mid-range plans align with the long-range plan;
