Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Hazardous Materials team in our Edmonton, AB office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive building assessments for hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead, PCBs, etc., including sample collection.
• Perform oversight reviews and air monitoring for hazardous material and chemical agents during construction and abatement projects.
• Analyze asbestos air samples via Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM) and interpret results in relation to legislative requirements.
• Prepare assessment reports detailing methodologies, findings, conclusions and recommendations concerning management, control, and removal of hazardous materials.
• Manage project schedules effectively and efficiently.
• Liaise with clients and subcontractors to ensure health, safety and hygiene needs are addressed and met.
