Proofreader

Our Cape Town office is looking for a Junior Proofreader to join our Proofreading Team.

Job Specification:

• Proofread and edit copy on InDesign/Figma/Word/Adobe PDF


• Checking Prices/Grammages/Copy/Dates/Keylines/Store Names/Fabs/Spreadsheets


• Using RMS for prices


• Translate from English to Afrikaans and vice versa


• Ensure copy/format is in line with the style guide of the particular brand they are working on


• Providing feedback on errors when manager requests it


• Doing self as well as peer reviews


• Managing deadlines and communicating with manager if deadline can’t be met


• Help proofing across brands
