**Description:**
You will be the Prototype Machinist / NC Programmer for the Engineering & Prototype Laboratory (EPL) team. Our team provides engineering and fabrication support for research‑and‑development initiatives within Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As a Prototype Machinist / NC Programmer you will be responsible for interpreting drawings and 3D models, developing fabrication processes, and generating NC code in a “Build to Print” environment.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Plan, tool, and set up multi‑axis mills, lathes, and mill‑turn machines (including 5‑axis contouring) for complex prototype hardware.
+ Create and verify NC programs using CAD/CAM software to meet exacting tolerances.
+ Fabricate fixtures, work‑holding solutions, and custom tooling to support unique part geometries.
