CITY OF NEW DEAL, TEXAS JOB DESCRIPTION Position Title: Public Works Superintendent Division/Department: Public Works Immediate Supervisor: Mayor and City Council FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Schedule: 40 Hour Work Week - 7:00am to 4:00pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday; adjust weekly schedule to allow for Saturday and Sunday reading of water wells, water tanks and lift stations. Hours flexible depending on work to be done and emergency repairs to keep work week at 40 hours. 1 Hour Lunch Job Summary Under the direction of the mayor and City Council employee performs record keeping of all required State and Local regulations that apply to TCEQ, TWDB, STEERS, EPA. Employee will also perform technical and manual tasks in monitoring, repairing, and maintaining a wastewater treatment plant and water system, and performs related work as required.
