OSM Thome is seeking a dedicated **Purchaser **to join our team at our Arendal or Bergen Office. In this role, you will support our procurement strategy, maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vessels, and ensure the seamless operation of our managed assets.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Support the overall procurement and business strategy set by OSM Thome / Technical Purchasing Management
- Maintain positive relationships between the Technical department, vessels, and Technical Purchasing
- Improve service quality and productivity levels
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers
- Ensure the availability of items for safe operation onboard the company's managed assets
- Develop a mindset focused on achieving the lowest landed cost and practice negotiation skills
- Continuously challenge existing suppliers to generate potential savings.
