Purchasing Manager (Saltillo)

What you will do?

Implements a plant's supply chain strategy to facilitate the cost‑effective flow of materials and products from suppliers to customers through the manufacturing and distribution network. May have responsibility for distribution, planning, and/or materials management.

• Ensure that the prices of direct and indirect production inputs maintain the level of competitiveness and quality compared to other suppliers.
• Work with the Engineering, Logistics and Materials areas with the intention of giving timely attention to the different needs of the operation that are related to supply, so as not to cause line stoppages due to lack of materials.
• Evaluate and select external suppliers according to the needs of the plant.
• Review warehouse inventories and do its best to maintain the established levels.
