Medipost Pharmacy has an exciting opportunity for a Learner Post Basic assistant in the Chronic Dispensing Unit which is being conducted for the Department of Health in the Western Cape. This position reports to a CDU Pharmacist.

Primary purpose of the job Dispensing of patient parcels according to Standard operating procedures. Ensure each item and parcel that leaves bagging station is for the correct patient, labelled correctly and in the correct patient bag. Ensure error parcels are speedily force closed using the correct reason code and taken to exception station. Replace bags at bagging unit once it runs out. Ensure there are sufficient stock of TEE’s when you are working at the single line stations. Inform supervisor of any bagging, label or item related problems.
