Specialist Role Candidates must be trade tested/coded and experienced with high-strength structural steels (STRENX 700 or equivalent). The ability to work precisely from drawings and execute complex welding procedures (WPS compliance) is essential. Cutting, shaping, and smoothing metal using hand tools, power tools, and machines. Welding components using various welding equipment based on the process requirements. Testing and inspecting welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
