Quality Assurance Specialist

Purpose of Position

To provide support and help manage risk in quality management, life science product safety management, and responsible distribution, while also providing commercial support as required by the business.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. There are no direct reports.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage risk considering quality and product safety legal and company requirements, industry best practices, management system requirements, and the Responsible Distribution Canada's Responsible Distribution Code of Practice.
• Evaluate new products and vendors from the perspective of quality and product safety.
• Address customer inquiries related to quality management and product safety via standard documentation, questionnaires, and other documentation such as notifications of change.
