**Job Description**
The Quality Inspector performs detailed in-process inspections of sheet metal parts in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role focuses on verifying that welds, punched holes, angles, and bend allowances meet blueprint specifications, using precision measuring tools and clear documentation to ensure consistent product quality.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform in-process inspections of sheet metal parts throughout the production cycle.
+ Inspect welds, punched holes, angles, bends, and bend allowances to ensure they meet required specifications.
+ Compare parts to blueprints and technical drawings to verify dimensions and tolerances.
+ Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to measure and validate parts.
+ Inspect both finished parts and in-process parts on the assembly line.
+ Document inspection results accurately and clearly, following established procedures.
