Role: Quality Inspector Location: Wellingborough Salary £35,000 - £40,000 per annum We're recruiting a Quality Inspector for a well-established precision engineering business in Wellingborough. The business produces machined components for the automotive, aerospace and medical sectors and quality sits at the heart of everything they do. This is a great opportunity for a detail-driven inspector to join a stable, busy shop floor team where your work genuinely matters. What you'll be doing - Inspecting precision machined components at goods-in, in-process and final inspection stages Using CMM equipment, height gauges, micrometers, verniers and optical comparators to verify dimensions against drawing Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and geometric tolerances (GD&T) Raising and recording non-conformances, completing inspection reports and maintaining accurate quality records Supporting first article inspections (FAI) and working closely with the Quality Engineer on CAPA activi...
