R113 HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

Primary functions:  

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance as per the maintenance 

plan (e.g., oil change, filter, belt, etc.). 

• Conduct major and minor repairs, inspections, and checklists for all 

equipment, including diesel engine overhauls, hydraulic cylinders, 

transmissions, air valves, and pneumatic cylinders. 

• Make repairs on engine components (petrol and diesel), including 

lubrication systems, fueling systems, tune-ups, cooling systems, and 

transmissions. 

• Work at both the workshop and project/construction sites as required. 

• Attend breakdowns reported by staff and equipment control 

immediately. 

• Ensure all preventive maintenance (mechanical) is conducted 

according to the defined system.
