Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Railcar Loader to join our team. As a Railcar Loader, you will play a crucial role in our transportation operations, ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of railcars.
Conduct thorough visual inspections of railcars to ensure mechanical soundness and identify any defects prior to loading or unloading.
Prepare railcars for loading by opening manways and installing appropriate loading arms or hoses.
Load specific products into railcars using loading manifests, accurately measuring and recording volumes and temperatures.
Secure railcars for shipping according to Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) standards.
Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including checklists and manifests.
Work collaboratively in a team setting, both at ground level and on elevated railcar loading racks.
