Position Summary
The Senior Raw Material Buyer leads strategic and operational procurement for direct raw materials, ensuring supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and supplier development, with a focus on overseas suppliers to support production and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement of raw materials to ensure timely availability for production
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with local and international suppliers
Lead negotiations for pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and logistics conditions
Monitor and follow up on purchase orders to prevent supply disruptions
Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks
Drive cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (planning, operations, quality, finance)
