Refinery Engineering Technician

Description

Support project by executing chemical and petroleum lab scale experiments. Buildup of the test equipment, Compile and report test data. Mechanical Aptitude is a must. Work with engineer to generate mass balances, data compilations. Perform sample collection. Training will be provided by chemist or lead engineer. Perform equipment maintenance/troubleshooting. Candidate needs to be able to take apart equipment and rebuild as changes will be made to pilot plant. Be able to read drawings- AutoCAD. Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs instrumentation, mechanical and electrical equipment including, but is not limited to the process demonstration unit, pumps, and other auxiliary equipment. Assists in the safe start-up, operation, and shutdown of plant equipment from outside the control room.
