Registered Nurse – Emergency Care

Key Responsibilities

• As a Registered Nurse, you will become an integral member of the interprofessional team responsible for providing compassionate, patient and family centered emergency care.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses
• Current BLS certification and motivation to complete your ACLS certification within 6 months
• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department experience
• Completion of an accredited college Coronary Care 1 program or proof of demonstrated current enrollment or equivalent required, or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire
• RNAO membership is preferred
• Critical Care Certificate and/or ENC(C) is a definite asset
• TNCC and ENPC certification are highly recommended
• Excellent physical assessment skills; Physical Assessment courses are an asset
