- In this position, the Registered Nurse has primary responsibility and accountability for the nursing care and safety of patients who are undergoing an endoscopic and/or invasive procedure with or without sedation.
- This nurse demonstrates skills in interpersonal relationships, critical thinking, and efficiency, serves as a resource to students and new caregivers and is involved in the quality improvement process.
