Position Summary
Registered Nurse position at Fort St. John Hospital dedicated to compassionate patient care. Responsible for patient assessment, teaching, clinic procedures and health promotion activities in line with Northern Health policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing and current registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Minimum 2 years experience on an obstetrical unit with labour and delivery or related perinatal clinical nursing experience.
- Valid BC Driver's Licence and access to a personal vehicle for business purposes as required.
Skills and Abilities
- Clinical proficiency in the designated clinical area.
- Ability to complete initial and ongoing patient assessment and apply nursing theory to provide care.
- Recognize acuity changes and make timely decisions.
