The Registered Prosthetic Technician reports to the Manager of Assistive Technology and works under the direction of a Certified Prosthetist. This role is an integral member of the clinical health team, providing prosthetic care to both inpatient and outpatient populations. Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, individualized design, custom fabrication, implementation, and maintenance of limb prostheses to enhance patient mobility and function. The technician works collaboratively with the inter‑professional health care team to ensure high‑quality prosthetic care and achieve patient goals.
