Release and Environment Lead

The Release & Environment Lead is the authority and process owner for all software deployments across Auto & General’s multi-system landscape. This is a high-visibility role that balances technical coordination with strict governance.

Beyond simple task tracking, you will lead the evolution of our deployment framework, ensuring that all changes—especially out-of-band and emergency releases—meet rigorous standards. You are expected to have the technical confidence to challenge developers, push back on poorly prepared changes, and ensure that lower environments are maintained at a high standard by the teams that use them.
