Job Description:
The Release Coordinator acts as a liaison between IT Change Management, IT Release Management, Project Management Office (PMO) and the Delivery teams for the coordination of all software changes delivery activities, from intake to deployment.
Accountabilities
Ensures that all changes that being delivered to Production meet the client's delivery framework gating requirements, follow the standard IT Change Management procedure, and are implemented with no interruptions to the business processes.
Works closely with PMO, Release Management, Development, QE and Business groups to define, document, and communicate release scope and content for every release throughout the software development lifecycle.
Manages risks and resolves issues that affect the release scope, schedule, and quality.
Oversees the production deployments and escalates any issues that arise to the appropriate stakeholders.
