Release Train Engineer (RTE) – Agile Program Integration

Title:

KBR is seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support the MSEIT contract at Space Systems Command (SSC). This role is responsible for coordinating Agile Program Increment (PI) execution across multiple independently contracted software development teams supporting U.S. Space Force mission systems.

Unlike traditional commercial Agile environments, the development teams are separately contracted directly to the Government, requiring the RTE to operate primarily through coordination, influence, alignment, and stakeholder engagement rather than direct organizational authority.

KBR serves as a systems engineering and integration (SE&I) partner to the Government and supports overall technical execution, cross-team coordination, and enterprise integration activities.
