Flexible chefs who are able to work in care homes and hospitals at short notice are required in Blackburn and the surrounding areas.
We have a number of contracts in this region which require Relief Chefs who have a current Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) on the update service, and minimum Level 2 food safety certificate.

Requirements:

Chefs who have worked to at least Sous Chef level with excellent all round cooking skills capable of jumping on any section and used to working in fast paced kitchens with all fresh produce. Chefs with Enhanced DBS checks as detailed above, Food Safety Certificate, have a sound knowledge of IDDSI guidelines and dietary nutrition.

It is not essential to have your own transport but it is advantageous.

All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
