Remedial Management Head

The Role

Remedial Management Head is responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of the division aimed at meeting the mandates on loss recovery/cuts and preventive remedial action. The role involves formulating strategies for all remedial accounts to maximize recovery of the Bank's exposure, writing provisions back to profit, and minimizing losses that would impact shareholders’ funds. Preventive remedial action is taken for credits perceived to be under financial strain, ensuring they do not progress into default.

How you’ll contribute

• Evaluate borrower’s profile and account circumstances to determine options outside of legal action in line with mandated directives; instruct the Legal Division if no options are available.
• Provide direction to the Remedial Officer in formulating primary and alternative strategies, assessing key success factors and impediments, and determining means to overcome impediments.
